Does anyone have pictures of CW ITRs with gunmetal wheels, particulatly 00-01 ITR wheels? I'm thinking about putting them on my 98. And what do you think? Thanks.

does lowering your car by that much help? looks like by doing that, you decrease your *track* so that the rims can fit under the fenders...wouldn't that also decrease your lateral grip among other things? just wondering...thanks...

again, i'm just asking the question...otherwise, it looks sweet!

 

kepani: no lowering that much doesn't help. Now I know people might just respond with "Race cars are that low too!" but let's look at their springs rates and suspension components compared to Sofa King We Todd Did's up there.

That's a pretty generic statement. Not trying to be offensive (in this post. lol) but you can't really say that. If I lower a ITR, run tires meant for a good dose of negative camber, etc you can pull good lateral numbers from it.

I think that statement is a little too broad.

There is a right way and a wrong way for everything... and the R at the top of this thread would be a good example of the "wrong" way. Good lord that is a ghetto sled.

 

Looks like it has bags on it. I'm sure he lowered it that much for the camera and you can tell by the pics he takes car of his car, so I dont think he runs it on the street like that.

 

Ah ok, so he did do it the right way, he has airbags on it.

I've been thinking of swapping out my suspension for some bagz too.
