i was dirivng my 93 accord lx down the higway and it jsut died... i let it sit for a couple minutes and it started right back up, since then it like to jsut die out every 5 minutes or so once it warmed up... local guy i knwo said its most likely a distributor problem... i changed the cap and rotor and hit hasnt helped at all. anyone know anyhting to help ????? its my daily driver
Check all your ground connections for tightness and clean any corrosion. Check the ground on the thermostat housing, which should be on the bottom of the thermostat. Make sure that's snug also, it could solve the warming-up-then-dying problem. On Honda's the ignitier or coil goes out pretty easily so have the checked out also.
