Low End Power...
I am planning an exhaust system where I have a cutout system. The cutout system allows me to bypass the Cat and Muffler; but is only effective after 3500 RPM or else there will not be enough exhaust build up. So my question is what is the best way to get a good low end gain? Is it worth putting in smaller piping and leave the factory cat converter?

How loud is the "cut-out" system going to be without a cat or muffler. If it's ungodly loud just get a good catback system or else you'll have a hell of a time racing at a track and you'll just get yelled at when you go to street races. But to answer your question, look into getting some 4-2-1 headers, or else put in a lightened flywheel and getting to 3500 rpm's will be a breeze. oh yeah, you can get a testpipe made to replace the cat, and then weld the stock heatshields over it. That way you'll pass a visual if you get pulled over.
it comes with a switch, so when I pull it I can bypass everything, and when not it will function normally - check out http://exhaustcutouts.com/.
Anyway, I plan on using the switch occasionally; adding an RSR catback for when I dont use the cutout.
So aside from a CAI, 4-2-1 headers, exhaust and flywheel what either good bolts ons are there that wont effect reliability, idle, etc. Are pullies worthwhile?
