I thought that the Base and Type SH share the same shocks...however, the springs/coilovers are different.

Nope...it won't work. Look on a website that sells suspensions and check the part numbers. That will show you for sure.

The base & SH come stock with different springs & shocks, yes - but aftermarket coilovers and spring/shock combos are interchangeable between the two.

You mean stock SH shocks? What springs are you using?

what about going from a base 5th gen to a 4th gen 'lude, can you interchange those coilovers?

Both the SH and Base model can use full coilovers from EITHER model. They can also use the full coilover from a 4th Gen.

i was actually thinking about this the other day with my bro's 5th gen accord

SH and base model suspensions are interchangable with the full shock/spring system

to my understanding, the base model combo can fit directly onto a 4th gen lude

and i was thinking of swapping the combo onto my bro's 5th gen accord (off topic)

from a=b, b=c, a=b... basic alg, it seems they should work
