who is the fastest turbo charged prelude 4th gen?
who here has the fastest turbocharged prelude set up here and what is it and what is the 1/4 time and is it on slicks or street tires?
i think that honor belongs to XES. 540 whp to the wheel and i think 11 sec 1/4mile... but i think i read that was not a good run...
"not a good run" 540 hp and 11 sec would be damn good, considering ive never seen nor heard of a 10 sec prelude, and if so im sure it would take 800+ whp , Btw mad props to xes/
there was firedrake with jsut 300whp at 9lbs, and when he ran 12.7 he was at 11lbs at 1000somethingft. of elevation which equaled up to like a 11.7 run on normal sea level. ON slicks that is.

Yep; so XES SHOULD be able to pull off a much better run.

It was a 12.7 @ 115.8 mph, 11psi boost, mix of 103 and 91 pump gas, on MT 22x8x15 slicks (too small).....this is with the car full weight/PS/AC/stereo, stock motor, 5600 ft elevation
I'm just driving the car around right now waiting to retune with C16 and 13ish psi with bigger slicks.......thing is I need money to buy the slicks first
I'd guess the car is making around 340-360 whp uncorrected (like 410 corrected) based on another prelude here in town (built H23 turbo) that dynoed 332 whp uncorrected and ran 13.1's at 114......that car weighs less than mine and was also running on bigger slicks (the ones I'm planning to use, 24.5 x 8.5 x 15 M&H's).....I'll get some real dyno numbers out of the car someday.....

Your car is amazing. Your car was the one that gave me inspiration to turbocharge my lude before i crashed it.
And all this power coming from stock internals!

Stock axles.....all the 60ft's were around 1.9x (the 12.7 had a 1.96 60ft) so I'm not really putting a lot of stress on the axles.....if I can start pulling some 1.7 60ft's on the bigger slicks, then we'll see how well the stock axles hold up
Info on the car is on our shop website
I've got vids of a lot of the runs at the dragstrip, but they're on video and we need to convert them to .mpegs
