GSR head for LS/VTEC yes or no? Also whats better for ciruit LS/VTEC or LS/Turbo
Hey, I'm trying to decide yet again what to do with my LS. next yearmy car will be used as a daily driver and hopefully I'll get out to do some ciruit racing, I dont plan on dragging that much.
So my first question is should I do LS/VTEC or LS/Turbo?
Also if I should do LS/Vtec then would a GSR head be worth it? cause I got a line on a complete one right now, but I'm not sure about using it, I think I'd rather use a B16, any comments?

theyre really just about the same. The b16 flows a tiny bit better up top and the gsr a tiny bit better down low. But the GSR will up your comp ratio so youll gain some power there as well. Pick the one your getting a good deal on, you really cant go wrong with either.
And i dont have much experience in circuit racing so i cant answer that one...

like said above the gsr will give you i think .2 on the comp. ratio.
ive got the gsr head w/ itr cams. its a good setup.

I'd go with the B18, might as well match it up to the same size displacement, I remember somone complaining about how the pistons and the deck could potentially be a problem? Maybe i'm waaayy off tho.
The B16 head will rev a lil higher then the b18. Which may be good for auto-x. Keep it in the powerband. But, hey, why not.
