Did you try yelling at it, beating it, and flicking it off? Just kidding, good luck with it.

I don't get it, what ecu are you planning to use?

You sould be using a p13, an OBDII-I harness, an OBD-I distributor and rewire the CKP to the distributor wiring.

i am using the p13, the engine has a 97 lude wiring harness, and i need to know which colors and whatnot to wire the CKP to the dizzy...do i run them straight from the ckp wires on the harness to the dizzy itself? since there is no actual sensor on the motor, should i just slip the connector and hard wire them? THis will be good, cus Turbo Sam can have his coil back, lol...do i then just cap the plug on the engine harness for the coil?\

sorry i wasnt more specific satan....had a minor brain fart

and sam, u know im gonna get that s2k seat from chris, so i wont bother cleaning them, although i will treat them, thoroughly, u sloppy bastard, lol

why don't you just solder the wires to the OBDI dist. plug?

satan....this is the post u made a whle back that im referring to:

On the OBDI Distributor the plug reads like this (assuming you have an OBDI ecu eventually)

ABCD
EFGH

Sens - Term - ECU - Wire Color
CKP ---- B ---- B15 - Blue/Green
CKP ---- F ---- -B16 - Blue/Yellow
TDC ---- C ---- B13 - Orange/Blue
TDC ---- G ---- B14 - White/Blue
CYP ---- D ---- B11 - Orange
CYP ---- H ---- B12 - White

is it only two wires (B and F) that have to be run? do i just leave the 97 dizzy plug and coil plug loose in the engine bay then?

If you'd ever pick my broken *** turbo CRX driving self up, I'd wire it for you.

And that S2K seat Chris has belongs to Nick, my riceboy friend, I've told him not to leave it there. Is Chris trying to sell other peoples property again?

update:

following satan_srv's wiring suggestions on the dizzy, i now have spark...but no fuel from the injectors....which sensor sends the signal for the injectors to squirt?

is it the

Cylinder position sensor - CYP
or
Crankshaft position - CKP

?

thanks

got her running today...sorta....shes firing on two cylinders, 2 and 3

threw 4 codes:

4 - CKP Crankshaft Position Sensor
14 - IAC Idle air control valve
15 - Ignition output
21 - Vtec solenoid

strange, im assuming 4 is carusing the misfire and 15 is the reading of the misfire
but the vtec solenoid is getting perfect connection and voltage tests normal on it...didnt test the IAC yet, as we ran out of daylight...

can anyone help?

would one things cause all 4 to go at the same time besidees the ecu?

TIA

no, we havent put a light on it yet, b/c, well, its only 2 cylinders are combusting, i know for a fact beyond a shadow of a doubt that it has spark b/c the ****** shocked me

my theory is that the injectors arent properly pulsing b/c of the lack of Crank position signal

bigjussin:, im thinking its the ckp signal reversed, and only firing twoare at a time...1 and 4 are buddy cylinders right?
