Slotted DX Rotors
I really don't have the money to get a full brake conversion for my car right now so i'm just planning on getting some slotted rotors for my dx (about $60 each). Does anyone know how effective these would be as opposed to a whole conversion, or how much more stopping power i would have opposed to stock dx temporarily?
Slotted rotors will be a big improvement compared to your stock setup. After a full day of racing at Las Vegas Motorspeedway in 113 degree weather, my stock rotors were gone.... right now I'm using J-Power rotors with X'dynamic pads (made by Tom's) . The J-Power rotors are slotted and cross drilled and braking power has definitely stayed consistent lap after lap.
A full brake setup would be nice but not that critical (unless your car is super fast... my DX sure isn't..hehehe...)... if you don't have the money at least get the front rotors changed... some steel brake lines would be helpful also.

It made a huge difference on my last car... but I'll see now. My Axxis pads just came in on wednesday... The rotors should be here tomorrow... I got the slotted/drilled rotors too.
