Default #1121 the victim of a "Hit & Run"

I was cruising around town late last night, when I was hit by a first gen Mazda RX-7 that happily decided to run a red light. He wasn't moving fast, only about 25 mph, and I was only doing 35 at the most. Immediately after I was able to step out of the car, I looked for the other car and saw nothing but RX-7 tail lights disappearing down the road. Before the accident, he had only one head light, and I think the other may have been damaged during the wreck.

I was hit on the rear bumper and it took out the light, and did some damage to the quarter panel as well as the panel that goes above the rear bumper. The damage isn't extensive, however it will be expensive. I know that where there are vehicles there will be accidents, I just wish they didn't happen to ITR's. Well #1121 is now twice a theft, had the wheels jacked once, and now one wreck. At least I didn't get hit with the other guy doing 90.

If anyone happens to have a 98+ Integra rear bumper in the south FL area, let me know. Also let me know if you have the JDM tail lights, or have any advice about fixing any of the damage to my car. Thanks a bunch.

Here are some pics.

That looks like its just the bumper cover, though I could be wrong. It won't just buff right out

I'm very sorry to hear what happened.

Just a little hint - You might want to blur the license plates on your pictures. You never know who's browsing the forums these days.

Hope everything turns out well. I'm wishing for a speedy recovery for #1121.

No, the rear quarter panel is pretty much trashed as well as the panel that goes above the bumper cover, it's easily a couple of thousand dollars worth of damage. I'm right now hoping that I can either bend the quarter panel back and take it to a Dent Doctor to have him straighten it out, or find a black quarter panel that hasn't been destroyed by something else.

Yes, and for the first time in recorded history they were actually nice me. Every other time I've had dealings with cops, they've treated me like a stupid ricer who knows nothing, even when I was driving a turbo Porsche.

I got hit in the exact same spot a while ago, and from the looks of it you got hit much harder.

After my collision; one of the seems near the wheel well got busted and when it rained water would leak in from their. I suggest you strip your trunk and get inside to see if their are any busted welds that water may come in from. Hopefully mine is permanantly fixed and i wont have any major problems with it.
