Just got a gs-r in my hatch and looking for inputs on what are the setups that has hit 13's out there. I would like to hear some positive inputs for building the motor. i am planning to put some skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk2 IM, port and polish, ctr pistons, itr spings and retainers. Would this work good and reliable anyone out there with this setup? I appreciate for all the inputs. oh i forgot i have a 50 shot dry.

 

u should be in 13s already if u dont suck at driving

 

with your setup now what time have you ran?
well traction is an issue ofcoarse especially launching, have you ever been staged on a tree?
I could say you should run this or that..but the driver is the key factor in the formula, perfecting your launch technique is what I would be working on .. what's your tire & rim setup?

 

I ran a 13.8 with a 55 dry shot with a GSR in a coupe. You should not have any problems hitting 13's in a hatch with th nitrous alone.

 

Slicks . And a 50 shot is kinda not "all motor" .

 

You will hit 13's without the nitrous in that setup, unless you start in 3rd gear


What are you going to run for engine management? That setup will fun just fine if its tuned (hondata)

 

for engine management i might go with hondata or v-afc. v-afc because there are just more people out there that tune this. But i really like to have the hondata.

i am running on azenis wrap on si stocks.

just in case i gave the wrong impression, i am planning to put this upgrade on my ride. That would be the game plan! but all of the inputs are helpfull, thanks! by the way anyone know if there is a corner were i could find info on how to just drive better at the track? u kno leanrning is a never ending situation!

 

my friends hatch with gsr motor running jdm 4-1 header,msd ignition,skunk stage1 cams,homemade filter stock clutch, street slicks and skunk2 manifold runs 13's all day. You should be able to run it with your setup unless you got an automatic
