Default See ya guys ... i'm now into K-Series.... (read why)

I loved my hybrid for the time i built it and drove it....but it was consuming to much of my time.. and lately i was getting pretty pissed at it....

the last thing to pissed me off is i gave my buddy a drive in it, and when i went to back out i had no reverse.... thankfully he was a honda technician ....

ends up that h22a trannys don't like to be shifted some +8000rpm.... so with this in mind and having to do the tranny twice... and the agony to remove split and re-install etc etc... and also replace some gears 5th and the slider hub... well this is the last 500$ im putting in...

i've driven the car for about 6k miles and it it's ups and down now that the bugs are worked out...... the new owner allready tried it and offered me a great ammount for it 17k. so with this newfound money i'm building a mean RSX-R...

It was fun but times are changing...

and i need something a bit more reliable...

i'll read some topic sometimes but my participation rate will drematically reduce as i'm now on some specific rsx forums....

it was fun guys!

Se yall!

Alas, another entry in the love-hate auto relationship... Dumping money into a car does not necessarily transform it into something you like more.

So where is your intake manifold? I wouldn't mind having that, considered you never tested it

The intake manifold went with the car, so is everything else... he has a mid 13 second car now and he drove mine and he vouchs it's in the 12's so he'll be the one seeing them, but at least i'll be the one who got him there....

i'm going to help him with stuff, but funds are from his own pocket now.. i've got my own project now .....

i guess you'll have to build one like me hahahah

Bahh! That's a lot of work to do to never validate if it was good or not.

im sorry you are leaving to build a k series car because of transaxle problems. especially with all the problems acura is having with their transaxles. so far all of the rsx transaxles we have done at the dealership were on stock cars. they have had broken spider gears and we have one now that has a severed mainshaft. well since you have decided to build one anyway the hot setup these days is to use a tsx 2.4l block with rsx type s head, and yes they still call them integra type r's in japan, factory type r cams.
