Eagle rod weight compared to stock GS-R?
How much do each of these rods weigh? Which is lighter? Should I buy eagle rods or just get the stock GS-R rods shot peened and use arp rod bolts?
whats up dan. the eagle rods work fine for me. if you plan on spraying still i would deff. go with the eagles. its going to cost you like $40 for the arp bolts then like another $50 to get them pressed in. then like $20-30 to get the pistons put on the stock rods. might as well spend the extra $150 and get some aftermarket rods
for the price you cant go wrong with eagles. its better than having stock rods in there. and lighter is better when it comes to rotating assemblies.

eagle rods are heavier than stock rods. so they must be worse
i am sticking with oe rods that are balanced and arp in them, since i want a light rotating assembly, and will be making under 250whp.
i did some research and it seems anything lighter than an oe rod is 1000+ a set
