Issues between skunk2 stage 2s and their over sized valves (.5mm)
I was searching around and there seems to be some kind of fear of running these valves with the stg. IIs. It appears that there might be a valve to valve clearance issue, like that they might be touching. Do any of you know from experience if this would be safe to run with these cams?
Well my friend just installed these on his motor with skunk2 stg. 2 cams and was wondering if there gonna tap. Is he screwed?
Could any of you guys say anything from experience?

I will say that I have heard of many guys using them anyways, and that there was a way to get away with it...barely. Try a search and you MIGHT be able to find what I read...although that would be hard.
I searched, but i just wanna hear personal experience now. Like ..... someone liek you for example. But you yourself, does not have any experience with my friends dilemma.
well it already been answered for you. Think to yourself why would a manufacturer tell you not to do it ????
The best people to ask would be skunk perhaps ? And if there was a work around i guess they would know it to ?
You might get a quicker response that way

Well i say this because the stg. 3s for b series have close to the same specs as our stg.2s and there have been quite a few who have ran stg3 cams with .5mm over sized valves on their B series motors and ran it with no prob. Im just wondering if my friend is going to experience any problems.
