Who has the heaviest or is running a full interior 10sec. daily driven cars.
norris' car weights probably 2700+ with him in it. went 10.80's with full interior in an integra.
jason hunts car weights about 2650 and he went 10.20's. 6th gen coupe with full interior.
the sfp and the pacific performance car both weight around 2600 and they both went low 10's with full interior.
i know of a few 5th gen hatches with full interior weighting around 2500 and running mid 10's.
*all weights include driver*

My 95 civic went mid 10's and weighed 2469 with me in it. Definatly not the heaviest, but still is a pig. I still have to add more weight too.
Realistically, none of them, hehe. Most sfwd / pro am cars arent much of a streetcar anymore.
Some of them don't see any street time. The only one around my way that used to come out alot of Brian fisher. Yes he was replacing trannies and such all the time, but he doesn't care. He did tone it down during race season for off season. And I am like an hour away from him too.

Question? Why would you want to add more weight?
Weight class at the track?

no one can really afford to daily drive their sport fwd, low 10 second car on the street everyday and still aggressively compete. unless you don't mind swapping trannies and clutches on the regular. brian fischer drove his car to the street races all the time, but he's a full time mechanic, has sponsors AND alot of money, and has been through quite a few trannys and clutches in the past year.

I only have to add weight because of safety equipment. 2 more rolcage points, window net, etc, all adds up. Nitrous is an option, but id liek to stay without it for the time being.
I agree with jinx, as far as driving these cars on the street, its true they could be driven on the street, but it costs alot more money to upkeep a car when yer putting the strain of daily driving it. Its pointless IMO, besides, my car is about as fun as a root canal on the street

I think it run's low 10's as well.
b20/vtec.. bad ***!</TD></TR></TABLE>
yes, his cars are always impressive and it could easily be driven daily. it went 9.80's and is totally street drivable, but again, he doesn't want to have to mess with the suspension, clutch, and tranny after everytime taking it from the street to the track and back again. its way more consistent if you don't have to mess with too much in between races.

Yup, I agree. 10 second car (set up I guess) is not to street friendly nor reliable..
I guess jason is one of the fastest around this area for a streetable car.

fastest fwd street car in the world.
a 10 second daily driven civic is a dream.
i have a dream....
i wonder if u could race the whole season and not have to many issues with the motor and just replace the trans when it breaks. and still drive it on the street.

Cortney (UglyAssCivic) runs 10.40s @ 134mph (i believe) and its his only car daily driven everyday to work. He has over 40 passes on the track and has never had a problem. Although last weekend at IDRC he broke 1st gear in the tranny. (first tranny problem tho!)
Its definitely possible! Tuning and how hard you drive your car really plays a part.
