How do i measure speaker sizes?

How do i measure speakers? I think mine is 5.25 inch from bolt to bolt but wasnt sure if thats how you measure speakers. Just wanted to make sure. TIA

Measure the diameter of the cone or to the outside of the surround just before the basket. Some mfr's measure slightly different.
