Just Installed Autopage RF-850LCD 2-way Security System
Great Alarm! Highly recommended!!
The unit has some good features that make it one of the more secure 2-way systems out there. The valet-switch can be setup with a PIN, there's an anti-carjacking feature, outputs for multi-layered starter-kill, 4 programmable outputs plus more.
The range, however, is a little disappointing. I can get a signal from about 1/4 mile away as long as I'm in the open. Range was inconsistent when the car was parked at a mall or office building parking garage.

besides the range, how does it compare to the Compustar 2WSS series?
and does the 850LCD start manual cars 'safely'?
