IGNITION UPGRADE 92 Accord EX
if you want REAL ignition wires get magnecor wires, as for the rest i use an msd 6al and blaster ss coil with external coil conversion distributor from msd
I was told thet the Accords already have a REV limmit in the computer, so the MSD 6A sould be good enough. is this true ? Has anyone else used this before?
the stock fuel cut is 6500, spark cut is 6250, with the 6al u put in like say a 7k rpm pill you increase your revrange to whenre the stock fuel cut is
jacobs iCE pack ignition (has coil controle module, cap conversion, and wires, but dont buy directly from jacobs, they charge more than resellers, and if you call them they will give specific hp and fulemilage gains according to your mods) buts it costs around $400-450
do you have the jacobs ign? how likely are the 8-10 hp gains they claim for a accord, I have seen these claims in the magazines. I think a horse or two at the wheels are more likely.

hmmm... If this is true, I wonder why my '97 5-spd revs to at least 7200 without cutoff.
I did not upgrade the ignition.
I did not upgrade the ignition.
Dyno test after dyno test show that the stock plug wires make the most power, followed by NGK, and the expensive wires like Nology at the bottom with power loss. Also, the plain old NGK V power (non-platinum) plugs from your Honda dealer are great. Platinum is more for longevity than performance and may gain you at most 1 horsey.
