Default Removing door panels

Looking to gut my 01. If I remove the doorpanels, will there be a problem with the power windows sealing? I wouldn't want any water leaking in. Thanks.

Thanks. My car is going to look real funny with no door panels and a full interior.

The wood I used to mount my component speakers are too big and consequently the door panels aren't closing/sealing all the way. My panels are rubbing against the dash and causing lots of problems with my power windows.

So I figured since I am going to gut my interior might as well start there for now.
