autometer oil pressure gauge(electric) hookup for the sender

i am doing this for a friend and i need to know what "t" i need to get to go between the sensor...1/4" or 1/8". and, the gauge sender does "t" off the sensor correct? thanks.

yes the sender "T's" off of the sensor.
