b16a swap , shift linkage , axles

Default b16a swap , shift linkage , axles

ok i have a 1990 crx and i am swapping in a b16a. now the problem is the shift linkage i bought from the company who sold me the motor seems to be bout 2-3 inches to long. does anyone know if i should cut and reweld both the shift linkage ad the stabalizer the same amount?? then the axles i ordered from the company dont fit. sp what axles should i go buy from my local shop??? any helpfull advice would be nice.

beautiful Ft. Myers Florida...

90-93 teg axles..

first off, try and bolt in the linkage and see if it actually is too long

if you have hasport mounts, 90-93 linkage cutting off 2 3/8 inch will do the
trick
see if you have the 90-93 linkage first..good luck!

i have mounted the shift linkage up about 7 times now...i mounted it up in the back and tried to make it work then did the frnt and tried to make it squeeze in. but i will try the 2 3/8 and weld it and see if that fits good..and i thought the axles i got were 90-93 axles...they fit in the hole but wouldnt slide in nice and easy...maybe i just need to buy new ones

fully splined axle goes INTO the intermediate shaft..
the half splined one goes into the tranny!!

Make sure you take the dust spacer and the rubber spacer on the axles off.

axles are from 90-93 integra. The linkage that came with your engine swap will have to be cut and rewelded... both pieces cut the same amount.
