HELP HELP HELP!!!!! soooo many headaches b18c1 all motor monster
1500 miles on fully built motor! want to know who has problems like this:
99 gsr block, rs machines sleeve
-micropolished balanced gsr crank
-eagle h-rods
-je pistons 84mm 11.5:1 comp (1.930 liter)
-prodrive oil pump gear
-fidanza aluminum flywheel & cm stage 4 clutch
95 gsr head port/polished at c&c in ny
-toda b cams
-skunk2 .5mm overbore valves
-full skunk2 dual spring set & retainers & skunk2 cam gears
-p28 obd1 s100 hondata
-jdm gsr lsd tranny
motor has been built with intentions of being an all motor nos animal, this is what happened: i had the motor built by nrg in ny, installed it in my car, tuned hondata, put 500 miles on it and it was burning a qt oil every 100 miles normal driving on top of being slower than a stock gsr!, brought it back to nrg, they put new rings rod bearings and head gasket, re-tuned and it runs good now but still slow, ran a 75 shot, while spraying the timing belt jumped, luckily everything is perfect, no damage at all, reset belt all ok now, still slow, whydid i spend 13g's on this and it doesnt beat stock gsr's with bolt-ons??? please any input would be great, otherwise i have to start moving out of the race life and move into the buy-a-house-grown-up life. if i were to sell, how's about $5500 motor/trans/ecu OR trade straight for a stock us or jdm type r motor/trans/ecu..note this motor needs a seal on the pcv can and 1st gear syncro which ill buy and send with motor...so what do you think??

there is your first problem...contradictory.
Im guessing your second problem is tuning.

well wtf do you want me to say to your big *** paragraph of run on sentence, with barely any info relating to what you are asking?

You said it was tuned how much wheel horse did it put down. The dyno sheet should let you know if the motors running right.
I bet its your TPS
check and make sure that do a search for it and you should be able to find out info on how to test to see if it is in working order.

I would have someone else tune it for u. Obviously they did something wrong.
If your willing I hear Whipfactory does some great tuning... that's by what I hear. Not for sure though. But the downfall on that is it is in the midwest if your willing to drive all that way out there.
