sup..i need to replace my ball joint. It seems like a bitch and heard it wuz a bitch...but can i do it when its on the car or do i have to take the hub assembly off to do it. If so..wut do i need to do? thanx

 

Which one is it? Upper or lower. I finished replacing my lower one. Once you get the knuckle off it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to pound out the old one and pound in the new one.

I know the helms says use the special tool, but a driver, vice, and a hammer (the heavier the easier it'll be to knock out/in) work.

I know you can pick the lower one at Advance Auto (60.00) or Napa (30.00).
