The Worlds Most Ghetto R
Hey people, I own a very ghetto Type R, I just thought I could use this opportunity to show everyone what an R looks like after it's been stolen twice, and had the wheels ripped off once (and the idiots who did that just set the car back down on the brake rotors). I consider it "The World's Most Ghetto R" but you never know, I could be wrong.
The car comes complete with a steering wheel from an 88 Civic; seats from a 93 DX four door; rear carpet that I found somewhere; GSR door panels with creases in them, a GSR strut brace, and duct tape covering the holes where the antenna and rear wiper fluid nozzle one were.
Among the items missing from the car are the radio; the speakers; the antennae; the wiring associated with the previously mentioned items; most of the center console pieces (I still have the climate control); the original armrest (now I have the JDM piece); the clock; the rear seats; the rear seat brackets; and of course the rear wiper.
The wheels look like they've seen combat and one of them is slightly the wrong color.
Fortunatly, I've used this opportunity to purchase some "Nice" things for the car. I have a Nardi steering wheel at the house (the hub is backordered); I have a set of Bride seats coming from Japan and are supposed to be here by mid-December; I have the JDM door panels ordered; I've acquired the JDM interior pieces to cover the clock and passenger side airbag along with the armrest eliminator and JDM ITR badge (which Mike M is happily sending to me). I also have a shop lined up in Delray Beach to repaint the car and refinish the wheels so when it gets done, it should look nice. I hope to have the interior finished by Christmas so I'll post pics then.

The engine is two cents shy of perfect and I got it for $16000 before most of the crap it's been through. I consider myself lucky.

I just feel sorry for that R. How can you get a car stolen twice? At least learn from the first time. If you have all this money to purchase jdm interior, brides, and stuff then put some of it in an alarm system. The only reason a car gets stolen twice is because the owner is trying to get it stolen. Poor Poor R.

No, that was replaced by the insurance new from Acura for every bit of $221. They weren't pleased.

I know that alarms will not prevent a car from getting stolen dip ****. But a clifford g4, black jax, lo jack, and a clutch lock will surely slow you down enough for me to let my dogs rip you pieces.
