Default headlight fuse question.

ok, I don't know much about electrical wiring so thats why I'm asking. I just got a set of HIDS and want to put them in my car. I have the jdm front end conversion if that makes any difference. My question is, I read in the instruction manual that I am suppose to replace my current fuse to a 20A fuse. When I opened up the fuse box I looked at the headlight fuse and it says 40A? So does that mean I am suppose to lower the ampage?

The stock headlight fuse is a 10A.

You need to use a 20A.

Either you are not looking at the correct fuse, or someone replaced the fuse previously.
