i am looking into a 88 HF CRX with a JDM SiR B16a engine wap...complete JDM with hasport motor mounts, aem CAI out of 96-00 Civic, 00 civic wheels, azena tires, complete TEIN suspension, si front susp. parts, Tenzo R racing seats, and LSD with ys1 tranny. the body has 190,000 miles n it, the engine has 60,000 and all those parts listed have 20,000 miles....its pretty clean-no dents-all original, had it checked by a Honda tech. they tore it apart. only problem was that they found a very slight oil leak and a very small tranny leak. two other concerns were that the engine had no coolant by pass vave and they claimed the brakes were inadequite for the cars new engine. it has Si fronts, Hf drums rear-both will need new shoes and pads soon and the front rotors are warped...other than these small problems the car is great...it drives very well, no noises, no problems, vtec hits hard and the wiring and alll parts of the swap were done in a professional shop and was done very professional. the exaust system has a high flow cat on it. i am looking to buy this car but it failed to pass emmisions tests. so im stumped. any ideas...

also i have a few questions ive been meaning to ask...they are simple questions...

will 91 JDM lights bolt up to an 88hf?
does willwood make a big brake for the HF or do i need si parts?
how hard is it to mount a 92-95 civic radiator in a 88 HF?
will CRX 88 si door panels mount up?
will the JDM rear seat and all parts bolt up or is there modifications?
can i do the GSR guage cluster on a 88HF if i get the 91 cluster cover?
is the car above worth $4000.00 or should i wait???

i need to know what posibilities there are for the car not passing the smaog test..
