Default Straight exhaust for a 4th Gen Civic Hatch?

Does anyone know if I could install an exhaust that ISN'T bent on my 90' Civic hatch? I want to get an HKS or APEX'i, but not quite sure if I could get away with it...

you would have to custom pipe it with a universal muffler at the end.

i had thought about doing that to my hatch, but have talked to a few people who have done that and switched to a regular exhaust (with a few bends). they said that with the exhaust straight they didn't notice any more power than with the regular exhaust.

hope this helps.

But damn those extra kinks if not mandrel bent are going to cost SOME power on like a turbo motor. I would like a straight back ex. on my 4 dr. too, but there is like NO clearance under the trunk space & fuel tank , etc.
