How many more track events for these tires? (Willard!)
I figure I can probably get at least 4 or 5 more track events, or 10 or so autocrosses out of these still.. the insides of them are worn a little at a 45 degree angle or so.. weird

And I was somewhat "concerned" (not seriously, only somewhat ) about ever tracking a fresh Azenis yesterday that I had to fix a screw/punctire in.
I'd never drive with tires like that .... shown in the pics....

I had that same wear pattern (the strange 90 degree indention on the inner side wall and upper tread wear junction) on my last set of Toyo's. Wonder what causes such atypical wear patterns?

tell you what just throw the damn things away. they are no good, you will get down half way and then the tread comes off throws you into the side wall and you die, all because of that damn tire. have fun bro
You can use them as rears in a pinch, but I'd toss them because they've already cut into the carcass. It's not the cord that bothers me, it's the fact that there's cord hanging out.
You're cutting it up front on something. Probably bottoming out.

oh and since it wasn't outrageously obvious to some of you.. I have ZERO plans to drive on the tire that is seperating. The other one is still on the car. ~40k out of those S-03's.. not bad
New tires are on the way.. the rear tires are basically new so they'll be spares I guess. I do need to go to the shop to find another full size spare for the other front tire though.
a few notes though: the tire still holds air, drives fine (minus the noise of rubber and cords hitting the car
) and the wear was caused by using a civic si knuckle for awhile and never getting it aligned.
With close to 40k on those tires, I think I got my <80 bucks per tire (at the time) out of them
