Default SOHC y8 block on z6 head?

Good MOrning guys!!!, I been searching but couldnt find anything, I have a 94 si with z6 I was planning to change my bottom end to y8, because they say its stronger for turbo. I know for a fact that it bolts on to the z6 head, but couldn't find anything that say it will bolt on to the z6 transmission or my motormounts? Also couldnt find anything about the sensors? All your help will be appreciated THanks AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Y8 block isn't any stronger than a Z6. In fact, the pistons in the Y8 are higher compression so it would be worse for turbo. Y8 tranny is stronger than a Z6 and the Y8 also has a better intake and exhaust manifold and more aggressive cam.

yah Ryan is right... stay with what you have... no real advantage to switching blocks. If you do want to swap stuff, put the Y8 intake manifold onto the Z6 head it's supposed to flow better.
