A couple buddies and I got together to install my ITR sway bar tonight and everything went smoothly until that welded nut. We kept hitting both with a hammer but they wouldn't budge. We eventually got one of the bolts off but we decided maybe the other will come off if we drill thru it
(worst idea ever!!!)
After we drillled thru it the bolt still wouldn't move so we decided to chisel it(with flat head screw driver) but that didn't work either so we started to dremel it. Now the nut is all messed up/deformed and I had to call it a night cuz it was getting really late.
What do you guys suggest I should do? Should I get an air chisel and take it off? Should I get more dremel bits and dremel it off?
Or should I take it to a shop? I so regret drilling the hole thru the nut
and not following the directions more closely

on my 95 gsr its was very easy. one of them i put bolt 1/2 way back in and smacked it with a hammer really good and it fell off. the other 1 would not come off with the hammer so i got a wood chisel with a sharp edge and it came off quick.

did the same thing for both nuts on my gsr.

that's a great idea but I need to buy one of those multi-socket-in-one things to get it to fit my deformed bolt
I'm not even confident if I can dremel it off w/o damaging the subframe
