i just recently did the single cam vtec swap into my 89 civic si and the car wont start. it will crank but will not fully turn over. the ecu is throwing code 15 which is ignition output signal. does anyone know how i might be able to fix this? any help would be great. thanks

 

i got the car started but now it is throwing code 16 which is the injector code. when the car runs it will not rev past 3,000 rpm. does anyone know what i can do i checked to make sure that all of the injectors are pluged in. thanks again.

 

what kinda motor you put in a SOHC vtec.? I had the same problem it was a ground. check yous chassis to engine grounds make sure you have a ground to the block not the valve cover!

 

i have the d16 y8 i fixed the problem the distributor had pin that was not pushed in all of the way. thank you though
