Would anyone be interrested in one? I have been conversing with user BodykitsNW (Honda-Tech sponsor) about possibly making some of these. I saw a need for them, and almost could promise 10 sold if they made them.

NOTE* This is for the hatch wing, not the midwing.

Anyone interrested...it would be an SiR style.

Also, maybe a CF Spoon style lip...

 

I've have seen so many topics of people saying they will make CF wings , lips etc etc for our aging EF's but I've never heard of a fabricator that has actually done this. All I've seen and heard about go as far as CF mirrors (Vision) and hoods (Fiber Images, ViS). I'm not doubting that what you are proposing won't happen. It would be nice to see a fabricator that will dedicate their time to design these things for our hatches/rexes. That being said and hoping it will happen, I would be totally interested in a CF SiR style rear wing (with a slot to fit the LED) and CF version of the J's racing lip. (y)

 

I believe they are already out. Forgot the company that makes them, maybe VIS.

 

Well i know for a fact the mid wing is, and it looks nice. I just wanted to finally try to bring something to the table, and with me having 2 4th Gens and actually wanting to make them have some type of genuine look to them, it has compelled me to try to get some type of rear hatch spoiler.

If you guys are in on one, i am in to buy one as well. I would love to see some type of product to make the rear of the car slightly different. And as always, i would like to see a lip for the USDM front. JDM front lips are cool, but not everyone changes to the JDM front and that leaves us guys with the US look lonely!

So im gonna let the thread go on 1 page, and if theres good response, i will compose a list and see what the supplier is willing to work on or work out.

PS: any other carbon parts that groups are willing to buy, lets post em up. Im tired as well of seeing threads on things that never get made. I know my supplier will at least attemp things, but theres so many people that make things outta carbon, lets make this a productive thread for the 4th gen civics and carbon fiber parts...

 

I look forward to updates as to how your proposal progresses. Is there a link to the company/manufacturer that makes the CF midwing for the EF hatch? I have never seen or heard of it untill now.

Same here.. depends on how much cheaper. I personally think that a CF wing for $450 + shipping is a bit high.

 

Yeah if someone can have it for cheaper than $450 then I will for sure buy one.

I was gonna send him my stocker since i have 3 of the stock wing, but if someone has an extra JDM SiR spoiler, let me know.

Theres alotta possibilities! I would LOVE to have one of those, but we have to have the money or buyers up ready for a buy. As much as i could say lets do it, im gonna need at least 10 people who wana buy. 10 people get in on that hatch, and we might be able to get the ball rollin. I would like to have both, and can come with money soon...

 

JDM style carbon fiber wing for my ef? I like the sound of this. Would it have the slot for the longer jdm led or the shorter usdm 3rd lamp? And what would the price be if we could get a few of them sold rite away. If there arent any companies that make these I might buy a few.

 

yes, I would be interested in one if I had the longer third brake light, and hopefully cheaper than the one on 16 18 22.
