Fitting aftermarket seats (sparco torino) to gen5
I'm picking up a pair of sparco torino seats tomorrow with sliders, as for fitting will I need to take them to an engineer/seat fitter or is there some way I can fit them to the rails from my factory seats?
..here in the States by the name of Wedge engineering that makes brackets for the Sparco seats, but the fit isn't the greatest, especially if your tall, you will have to machine the bracket to lower the seat height.
Look around on the net for their webpage or contact Sparco directly and ask for their advice..

Picked up the seats today, I don't think they're torino as they don't have the side lever to flip the seat forward (there's a bar on the back), but these ones are actually more comfortable I think (more shoulder room, and more padding overall). So far I've only placed them in the car to see if they'd physically fit - here's a pic

I think I'll just find a local shop to fit them. I got the slider rails with them so it should be OK, though the only thing I'm worried about is the seatbelt clip which is actually bolted to the stock seat; will have to make sure I can get that put onto the sparco seat somehow.
I was actually going to get a pair of recaro sport A8, but they cost over twice the price of the sparcos
