goin down elgin ohare i saw a 00-01 black R come off the roselle ramp and i pull up next to him b/c i adore Rs...i give him a thumbs up. then i pull of the express way and get off on mechiem(sp?)...and i roll my window down and tell him hes got a nice car...he says thanx...and i take the turn when the light turns green and i hear his car and i heard a BOV and i look out my window i see a intercooler...and i yell out "HOLY **** A BOOSTED R!!"...dont think he heard that cos he just said "WHAT??!!" but i had to go and he got back on elgin ohare...

point of this is to say who every you are your R looked nice...i wanna see it in action sometime

I've got a black ITR and drive on the Elgin-OHare all the time, but no boost here

 

hey lang come to the meet on the sixth so more itr's will show up.. hopefully i can get mine back on the road after a clutch install next week. the boosted r is someone from glenview i think.. he's in a racing team and have their own shop.. i think its called one6..i'm not sure.. but he might show up on the ht meet on the sixth

YEs the meet is on the SIXTH OF DECEMBER HOOTERS!!! everyone is gatherin up there, then will decide on where to eat.. hope to see everyone there especially itrS!!!! josh will be there most likely i'll give him a buzz n yes justin i'll be there too i think n i hope..

 

Could be a guy I see around from time to time, ITR 373 or something. He posted in that "nicest turboed R" post. That could be who you're talking about.

 

I saw a white one at Hooters in Milwaukee. Wonders whose that was.

Also saw a black one with a big dent in it; had HIDs and stuff. No idea who that was either

 

yep it was him....but when i saw it...he had on his stock wheels and red calipers

 

I don't see too many Black or Yellow ITRs and to see one boosted is kinda rare in my book. Most of the ITRs i see are mostly White like Josh's 97R up in Bartlett. I would like to see a boosted ITR tho. The 97Rs will be at the meet representing Champ white so Black and Yellow ITRs gots to come represent so we can get all da colors.

That is not what T-I meets are like at all. That was the first time that those jackasses have showed up, of course they had to act like idiots and make T-I look bad. I believe those guys heard about the meet from a T-I guy posting a link to the thread on H-T. So those guys were actually H-T guys......not T-I guys.

That get-together (see https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=659702) - which may or may not be at Hooters (no one seems to have their act together like Chris and Chris and Kenny did for the Chicago-area ITR meets) - isn't limited to ITRs. It's not even limited to Hondas, since there are posts from people bringing Supras, Evos, WRXs, etc.

I think I'll wait till the next ITR meet...
