Thats what I found out. The name I pay'palled to was Chaley Freeman - Im thinking that might be a son in the household. I tracked the address via paypal. I am unable (dont know why?) to call that number, so I am hoping for your help.

I dont want to cause any problems for him, and if he is legit, thats good, but the second I paid him for the parts, (ITR valvetrain, CTR cams), he stopped responding to my mails. Not a good sign, is it?

hey mani just got to the airport here in san antonio, its my home town, I will call the # from a friends house later also will ask him if he knows of thi guy. Will let yu know by Friday since I have no access to an computer happen to be using 1 in the turmminal

I just called the number.

A younger guy answered the phone and said that Charley is not available (sounded kinda stunned someone from HT was calling to speak to him.)

Personally if ti was me and you haven't had any further contact with him and he doesn't keep in touch with you then I think you're getting screwed.

But, that number above Does work, and the kid who answered Did recognize the name Charley and was quick enough to say that he wasn't available to speak.

He asked for my name and info, I just mentioned I saw some inforamtion about him on Honda Tech and that it looks like he is scamming you for those parts.

You should see if you can get someone to stop bye and speak to him, He did sound a bit startled.

We should see if we can get a Bunch of people to call him to solve this.

Good luck. I doubt the authorities look too highly on international mail fraud

 

If you payed with paypal you are entitled to some kind of buyer protection. If you are unable to contact this seller, file a claim with paypal or call paypal and see what they recommend. Don't let it go too long, cause after 30 days, paypal won't cover you. Good luck.

 

dont wait too long, b/c if the seller removes the money from the account you get dicked over anyhow.

yes file a claim. it will freeze his account.. until he gets you a tracking number.

 

Don't get your hopes up. The computer crash is one of the most common excuses. That along with I got a virus and my email account got messed up etc etc.

 

Well, Ill try to keep my hopes up.

However - I do have a pending offer from a friend in Austin to pay him a visit. He justed wanted me to pay the 1hr trip for him. I hope it doesn't come to that, but if it does, it wont be pretty.

 

I have now received confirmation, visual, of the package shipment.
