Did the old school gen CRX/Civics from early 80's to 91..even make a three speed auto?
Just wonderin this is really makin me wonder...
because I just bought an auto tranny from a 88 CRX DX...
and when I shown it too my mechanic, he said that I have the wrong auto tranny...and that its only a three speed auto...
which i found very odd?
is it possible that I have gotten the wrong tranny?
and he something about it being a single solonoid instead of two? what the heck does that mean?
help me out here..

My '85 CRX DX had a three speed auto tranny but I'm pretty sure the 2nd. Gens had a 4 speed auto. The 1st. gen tranny will not work with a 2nd gen. CRX/4G. Civic motor.
*EDIT* Canadian Si's were available w/auto???
