Yeah, mine need painting too, but I want to keep my power mirrors or I would do the same thing you did.

 

They do make them in the power version.

 

theyz alriiight. i think the spoon replica mirrors that.r more of a flat black color look better.

I hate the way they stick out... the spoon mirrors are flush.

I hear ya! I wish I knew they were like that when I ordered them. On a more positive note.... Visibility is great!

 

i have always loved your eg man but those mirrors are oooooogly! they look like the hunchback of spoons or something, idk

You guys are being a little harsh on the mirrors. I would need some front and rear quarter shots to determine the overall look. Anything is better than stock faded black mirrors.

I'm going to drive around for a week with them on. Hopefully I'll start to like them better. If not they will be on Ebay very soon.

 

damn those look alot nicer than the other versions i bough were u stick double sided tap and putit behind the mirror. and u end up shaving the spoon shell so the mirror would fit

 

so the flat black spoon replica mirror..u cant see **** with them?? just there for looks or what? im thinkin about pickin a set up.but want to know if i can actually see with them

 

I personally don't like the way the plate bulge out.
So overall i don't like them.

 

IMO they look nasty...u coulda gotten some other spoon style mirrors for like $50 and theyd look more like the real thing....or i say just save up for the real deal

 

I heard so many stories about no being able to adjust the knockoffs that I thought I would try something else.

i got the same mirrors. but u can barly see them in this pic....

 

to you for function over beauty.
But, honestly, i find them lopsided and just aesthetically displeasing. Though, no where near as bad as the ghetto M3 replicas i'm rocking. i'm not hating, i think you made the right choice.

eh - the fake sp00n mirrors are iffy, the visibly sux, but I think if you take some a dremel and sand down the edges some it wont be so bad..
