ok good news and bad news....good news is that i got the turbo in (i ended up flipping it around) and now its extremely close the the intercooler...is this dangerous?

also, the wastegate wont allow my hood to close properly, but i think i can cut a little bit of the hood away and that will solve the problem.

bad news is i tried to get the radiator in and its barely touching the downpipe. so, my question is....

#1 i doubt it but.....are there any other oem radiators out there that are a lil shorter in length than a del sol dual core one?

#2 whats the minimum amount of inches that the radiator should be away from the downpipe?

#3 i think that if i cut a section (about 2 inches) away from the metal around the passenger side headlight that the radiator would fit w/o touching the downpipe...are there any cons in doing this?

any other suggestions on how i could get the radiator to fit would be appreciated..thanks

 

This may be a dumb question but are you referring to the radiator or the fan on the back of the radiator? My radiator fit fine but the fan wasnever going to fit.

sorry...i dont have a cam but

its a b18b crx with a max-rev turbo kit (t3/t04e). i flipped the turbo around to make it fit, so now the intake side of the turbo is on the driver's side and the downpipe is closer to the passenger's side. like i said b4, the stock crx radiator was a no go, so i got the del sol one which is half the length, but is touching the downpipe. and i just had the concerns that i listed above....thanks
