Which engine should I get? (more complicated than you think)

this isnt the usual "na b18c or fi b18b" thread; so here are my 2 choices:
stock b18c1
b18b1 with cams, 10.5:1 pistons, and a block guard
what i want to know is if the structural integrity of the b18c is any greater and if it is, will the block guard overcompensate for that lack of strength? whichever engine i choose, its going to have a jrsc on it pushing 6 psi and its going to be plopped down into a crx si or maybe an hf (no dx). the crx doesnt normally have vtec so the b18b would be easier to wire, but with the b18c i would have better gas mileage while not using the vtec lobes. ive found a b18c long block with under 100k miles for $1700 shipped and i was wondering if i could get a used b18b long block, cams, pistons, and a block guard all shipped for that price. reliability and price are probably my two greatest factors, so im not looking for stratospheric numbers. here are the parts with prices ive found so far:
cams: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...84426 $250 shipped
rods & pistons: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33623 $690 shipped (will these fit a b18b?)
b18b: https://honda-tech.com/zero...30772 $550 pick up
^ can anybody beat those prices? how would the hp and tq compare to a stock b18c? would i need a forged crank for that much power? what about a b20 with the above mentioned mods? how much harder would it be to put a b20b in a crx than a b18b? btw, this car will be daily driven under 5k miles every year and very rarely raced.

A friend of mine ran a jrsc on his gsr for quite some time using ninety ONE octane, with no detonation at all. I run 11:1 compression on 91 as well.

what fuel/engine management did he have? how much boost do you push with 11:1?

hmmm... so which would be the better setup; the b18c or the modded b18b? whats the easiest way to raise the rev limiter?
