I can't seem to give mine away. Got a new set in my garage (for years now) and no one seems to want them. $100 for the pair and there still doesn't seem to be any interest.
Hey, I know who's selling those
BTW--I have a set of Konis that might really interest someone. 8040-1078 SP "SS". Brand new in box. I have a set of used ones but I happened to find a set of brand new ones and they just arrived today. Very, very rare. The SS means "Showroom Stock" valving straight from Koni, so they are extremely stiff. In speaking with Lee @ Koni (if I may quote him), he said that they should handle springrates around 800-900 lbs without needing revalving.
I was gonna keep them and use them on one of my cars, but being jobless at this point in time, I might just sell them.
I'm sure these would work great on a DS Type R or even one that was lowered on some stiff springs. Oh, the SS also has a shorter piston rod than the normal Koni to prevent spring droop.

are j00 talking to me? Also, are they externally adjustable?

DS = D stock (SoloII), unless that's your give name
They are not externally adjustable, just internally. Koni ever made an externally adjustable ITR/88 Civic application, unless they just brought one out to market.

just giving you a hard time Todd
Sure they made externally adjustables...just not in the US. they only started importing them recently.
ask me how I know
They are however hard to source, and a bit more expensive. tirerack is the only place I found that carries them.
