sup ya, I purchased a set of placeracing motor mounts for my da, wit a b20/vtec. Motor tore up the old stock mounts with the quickness. Anyways Im having a nightmare problem with the passenger side mount cuz the one placeracing sent wont mount up to stock location. I bought the car with the motor in it and im thinking its something with the mount bracket. Could have been changed for some reason cuz of the swap. Place racing says the mount has to fit the 92 teg and theres must be somethng wrong with the bracket that holds it up. Any Ideas?

 

Sounds possible that they must have repositioned the passenger side mount bracket when they installed the b20/vtec. See if you can exchange for another one and try again. If the problem doesn't go away it's 99% that the bracket was repositioned in the process of the motorswap.

 

i installed 3 place racing motor mounts except for the rear damn thats a bitch i dont have a tool to reach that damn rear mount bolt.. anywayz for you to fit the tranny side mount you have to remove the black bracket on the tranny..
