My friend gave me his MSD 6A ignition box. I am going to put it on my b16 my question is do I have to buy a external coil or can I wire it to my stock coil? What all do I need to make it work. I did a search but I was still unsure about these questions.

you probally could wire it to the stock coil... but it'd die in a day or so. go external, it's not that much more and you actually get the full pontial out of the MSD box in the long run. i know MSD sells a kit for a external coil on a honda for like $15 or something like that
edit: make sure you run a set of MSD 8mm or better wires, stock will fry from the recockulaus amount of voltage
