Maybe I am just used to my integra, but my ZC feels like it revs rough. It is especially rough between 3k-4k rpm.

Rough meaning... I can feel extra vibration through the shifter/pedals/steering wheel etc. I know it is engine vibration because I only feel it when the car is in gear.

The car is using an '89 integra ECU. Brand new distributor, brand new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, all that stuff. Car runs just fine, it just seems rough to me. The motor mounts are brand new (stock). Any ideas, or is this just how these ZC motors are? I know they do not have the best internal geometry

HOw is the engine upon start-up.???does it crank over fgood ..??any funny sounds.??

 

It cranks over fine, sometimes the starter/flywheel make a noise like I am trying to start it with the car already running, but I do not know if that is related.

The car feels kinda rough (through the shifter) at idle too, sometimes feels like it misses or something but I do not think it is missing.

Heheheh... I think what you're feeling is just an older engine showing you it's happy. A ZC CRX is just not going to be as silky-smooth as a GSR!

 

Hehe I guess so... motor does not have that many miles on it though. Probably like 45k.
