Default Need axle help for h22/eg project!!!!

I am in need of info for a good axle kit for my H22 swap(in a 92 civic hatch). I need to know everything I need. I was looking at driveshaftshop.com for their Stage 1 hybrid kit($399.99). I am not sure if that includes everything I need though. $399.99 or lower is a reasonable price for me. All the info I can get would be great, thanks!!!!!

With DSS axles, you can retain the prelude intermediate shaft.

I have the DSS Stage 1's, and the only problem I had with them was the boots ripping. Unfortunately, they don't cover the boots under warranty.

Thats a shame Frank didn't help you out. I ripped two inner boots on my passenger side axle. He replaced both of them free of charge. On the second boot Frank installed one less bellow so that they wouldn't rub against themselves and tear another hole.

Yeah, when I called and told him what happened he said it wasn't covered under warranty, and that if I didn't want to reboot them myself I could just order another set of axles. However I don't have an extra $400 to drop on a second set of axles after just buying them 3 months earlier, so I guess I'll be rebooting.

dont use the teg accord axle combo, the inner slpine that goes into the tranny on the pass side is .125 (1/8th) of an inch to short, your axle will constantly pop out of the tranny and u will lose tranny fluid and potentially damage your transmission, i have DSS level 3 axles and have had a few issues with them, right now im currently talking to Frank to resolve a problem with my pass side inner jt binding up under suspension compression, this problem occured after my last rebuild, anyone else with these axles have u had similar problems??

I basically had the same problem, and what I said earlier was that Frank put a boot on that had one less bellow, allowing the boot not to bind up, when the wheels were on the ground with load on the suspension.

There is a simple solution to this problem.......the keeper ring on the trans spline side needs to be bent a little to make it a bit oval shaped and if you you do it right there will be 0 problems. I have done this probably 20 times for people that I do swaps for and have NEVER had a problem at all. teg/accord combo is by far the best stock axle/mid shaft combo.

I don't mean to bring this from out of the dead but that was only a temp fix for me. I ovaled the hell out of the ring. It ran perfect for about 4 months then popped out again. The proper way is to use a prelude inner-joint. The lude inner joint should be better because it fully fits into the tranny while the teg barely hangs on.
