Default 96-00 Greddy 19T kit = 300-310whp Greddy SOHC turbo?

I've been trying to do some research on this kit, here's my current setup for reference:
97 civic EX, D16Y8, 5-speed
Greddy SOHC turbo kit (15G)
DSM sidemount intercooler
NGK BKR6E's, gapped at .030"
ACT XTSS clutch w/ lightened stock flywheel (soon)
Walbro 255lph intank pump (soon)
stock injectors
2 degree timing retard
blue box
Greddy Type-S BOV
I think that's it?

Anyways, I have a few goals for my car. First one is my short term goal, which is to make about 200-210whp on the blue box and stock internals, and hit a 13.8 or 13.9 on street tires. (very doable, and it's been done many times before)

However, my long term goal (post-college, when I actually have money) is to max out the Greddy turbo and hit a 12.9 on slicks in a semi-gutted EX coupe @ 15psi w/ other supporting mods (Quaife LSD, weight reduction, traction bars, open downpipe, maybe c02 sprayer on the FMIC, etc.).

However, the 15G turbo is maxed out at 250-260whp, which will be cutting it close on slicks. Looking at the info. on the 19T kit (and the fact that it's actually made for my car), it is said to max out at 300whp, and I'm wondering/hoping that maybe it can do more than that if properly tuned (AEM EMS, Hondata, etc.).

Over all, do you guys think it's possible to hit 300whp on the greddy 19T SOHC turbo and get into the 12's on slicks in a coupe?

Here's the proposed setup (not a complete listing, but just an idea):
-Greddy 19T kit
-Greddy Type 31 intercooler
-Greddy Type-S BOV
-RC 440cc or 550cc injectors, saturated (probably 550's for 300whp)
-AEM EMS system, dyno tuned (I'd do serious shopping for a good tuner first)
-NGK BKR7E's, gapped at .030"
-Apexi AVC-R boost controller
-Open 2.5" or probably 3" downpipe (for 300whp @ 15 psi) - either Super-T or Autologic
-3" test pipe -> 3" piping
-ACT XTSS clutch kit w/XACT flywheel (not sure whether to stick w/stock or lightened)
-Quaife LSD (not relevant to HP, but for the 1/4 mile time)
-JE pistons/Crower rods/GE blockguard (Can't decide what comp. ratio, see my other thread regarding compression vs. boost level in a minute)
-MSD BTM

what else would I be missing for this setup? I'm sure I forgot something obvious.

bringing this back because it's either this or bolting up a 18G to my 15G manifold and running an external wastegate.

Really, all I need is a new turbo/downpipe, but a new kit would be nice

Awesome!

When did you switch to AEM?

What version are you running? How much did tuning cost you?

I sold my Hondata S200b in the winter and got the AEM EMS with AEM UEGO WB... I running the newest version that just came out 1.11v I think it is... I love it and "imo" I would go AEM over Hondata... Tuning is $140 a hour but I've dynoed so many times that get a discount, but it takes about 3 hours give or take

I wouldn't waste your time with a dinky greddy turbo. If your going to build the motor than get a good sized turbo at least. I wouldn't want anything smaller than my t3 60 trim .60/.48 turbo. Oh and it's very possible to hit 12's in a full interior coupe on slicks... I will be doing it this weekend. I ran 13.3 @ 102 and that was at 10 psi on some really used 22 inch slicks. I think I could have hit a 12.9 with a little less tire pressure and power shifting (it was my first time at the track). I will be running my new 23 inch slicks and 12 psi this weekend.

Go turbo sohc coupes!

A tiny turbo that is capable of 300-310WHP for a daily driver isn't enough for you?

It sure is for me. But it's not really about MAX HP for me, it's USEABLE HP and a USEABLE powerband I'm after.

Greddy turbos spool at about 2700-2800rpm and pull till close to redline. Great for the street IMO.
