Default Turbonetics NewGen Wastegate Pics!!!

Just got in the gangster wastegate today and wanted to get you guys some pics since there really isnt much on the net about this wastegate!! This is the Turbonetics NewGen Wastegate. The wastegate has a 50mm V-Band inlet/outlet and is said to still outflow the larger 60mm wastegates because of its swing-valve technology. Notice the arm on the inside lifts the wastegate valve like a door rather than poppet style which is said to give you better boost control and outflow all other wastegates. We will see how it performs in the next 2 weeks. stay tuned.

think the tial has the same swing valve?? or just going to be 50mm?? i wasnt real happy with my tial 40mm. It boost creeped on me alot more than the hks 40mm. The HKS 40mm i could spray at 28psi and it wouldnt move a lb.

I beleive they are 595.00 if i were to resell them. I dont buy direct with turbonetics so i'm sure someone else can get them cheaper for you.I got a partial sponsorship on this one since a local company had it in stock for a while. Thats the only reason I went with it otherwise i couldnt afford it.

I wouldn't count on that...... didn't those come out some time ago? We don't like turbonetics for anything but turbos around here... deltagates ruined it..... i think i'm gonna spring for the innovative pro-gate....... i have the mini-gate now, its great

Wow thats funny, i wouldnt put a turbonetics turbo on my car if they sent me one for free. The deltagate is a POS but you get what you pay for there too. 160 for a deltagate compared to 600 for a new gen i would say the newgen should be higher quality. Like i said Jotech ran 2 of these on their car. I would like to hear what tony has to say about it.

My friend's T88 came with a NewGen wastegate. I'll try to dig up pics of that combo. T88 on a bridged ported 3 rotor FC3S is gonna be monster sickness.

Yeah, we ran them on Kenny's car and they worked pretty good. We never had any problems with them so i can't complain! I also like the v-band setup because you can just weld the flange on and adjust the angle of the wastegate once the manifold is on the car. They're nice, but kinda high. Most people on here don't need something so big, but if you do then go for it. We'll be running them on Rado's new car if that counts for anything.
