Tire size on rims
my friend has 205's on his CRX and it is sticking out liek about half an inch. if i were to put 215 on my prelude would it stick out as well? i dont want to buy the tire then get assed out you know.
I would advise 215/40/17... For the reasons of more tire in both direction.. We like more surface area for grip and speed purposes.. those two intertwine honestly.. But I like the 215's because you get another 2.5 cm of height to your tire.. This may seem insignificant.. But, I like to think of pot holes and added protection for my rims.. Also, you gotta ride on the ground to not get that wheel gap of a 4x4 with 205's... Just my 2 cents.. And no, 2.5cms wont be a big thing like I just implied... But, it is noticeable with the tires next to each other..
