Does anyone have pictures of where the shift boot screws in?

Default Does anyone have pictures of where the shift boot screws in?

Does it screw into the car frame or into the center console? The reason i'm asking is because i did an auto to manual swap and i can't fint holes to screw my gsr shift boot in...

Holes are on the bottom side of the shifter bezel piece.

If it helps any, I have an automatic console. I'm not sure if that affects anything though (it's the same shape as manuals)...

still wondering if someone has pictures....i took out my center console today and didn't see any holes to screw the boot into...

it bolts into that

you sure? i don't like it when people guess and aren't 100% sure...but if you're sure...dang....i'm broke cuz of the transmission swap. I can't even afford a center console, haha.

yeah im sure u need it to put the shift boot in, u dont need to buy a whole center console just the surround around the shifter try to find someone who is parting out a car and u should get it for cheap

If you want one with a couple of holes drilled in it, we might still have it laying around. It's not pretty, but it'll work. Just put some vinyl electrical tape over the holes. heh
