Default Do you have to have a particular Clutch Master Cylinder for ABS and non-ABS?

I'm asking because while searching for problems with the clutch master cylinder (because my clutch pedal is sticking to the ground on occasion and i have to put my foot under the pedal to pull it back up). I saw a couple posts from people saying that you have to have a certain master cylinder for ABS or non-ABS. A couple of times while i was in the parking lot practicing shifting (i'm just learning how to drive stick now...i just did an AUTO to MANUAL conversion on my '94 integra LS), the ABS light would come on (i think it was the few times i burned the clutch). When i thought about it, however, the brake system and clutch/transmission system aren't connected AT ALL. Can someone clarify this ro me?

Also, if you think you know why my pedal might be sticking, please post

clutch components should not be ABS-specific.

yea it could be a bad clutch master cyc ( if you just got parts maybe they were used) also you may not have bled the cyc well enough, try pumping the pedal , does it get harder( kinda like the reg brake pedal when off) also maybe the slave cyc ( not sure on that oen though)

my car was sitting for 3 weeks and it did the same thing with the pedal to the floor and had to pul it up , i pumped it and it was just as hard as ever haha

yah...i found a leak where the lines met the slave cylinder. I tightened it and am going to bleed it today.
