ITR #1111 was broken into and robbed

ITR 1111 was broke into and robbed today :(
Haven't posted on H-T in a long time, but just need to vent. Anyways, at about 10 am today in my work parking lot my car was broken into and i had 3000 dollars in CDs and 5000 dollars in stereo equipment stolen. 
Not only that, but the ******* thief pried the the passenger door open to get in and destroyed the paint and metal inside and outside of the door jam. My faux suede seats are torn to hell and all of the plastic side moldings and center consoles are scratched cracked and dented terribly. Police took finger prints all over the car, and there were a few people at my work who seem to have seen as suspicious car pull in for about 5-10 minutes and then leave. I'll keep you guys updated, but for now im pissed and my car looks trashed inside and out

thanks bro, and the funny thing is they must have been just about stereos because they left my vafc and radar detector in tact. :sigh: they didnt even bother popping the trunk to pull everything out, they just flipped the back seat down and took everything out of the passengers side. two amps were mounted to the back seats and when they ripped those out it tore the crap out of the fabric

Damn Nate... I'm really sorry to hear this.
I'm also very worried now that two cars in our area have been messed with very recently
Since none of your stereo equipment is even visible... any idea how they knew you had anything worthwhile? I'm always concerned that out of all the people i've met through H-T/etc, there probably was one or two people I shouldn't have acquainted myself with. I'm not saying anyone we know did this... but how the **** did they know you had all that equipment in the trunk??!!??

chris n....whats up bro...long time. anyways, i think the thief came in our lot a few times before and checked out my car. ther stereo equipment loss really sucks but i have receipts for it all and that should be taken care of no problem, what really pisses me off is my entire cd collection is gone. the worse of the worse is all the damage done inside and outside the car. im almost positive it's no one i know. i have a small group of very close friends who i trust with my life and i have no enemies. I also dont go around showing off my car to let people see what i have. thanks for you comments and concerns guys, lets see if state farm will get this all taken care of. Thanks too to Jay (cheezthis) i'll let you know if i need anything, i appreciate it

Mine's been stolen twice, the second time it was taken, only some interior pieces were missing when it was found, the engine wasn't even touched. I guess a lot of thieves go after one particular item or group of items, target a vehicle, and execute their move in one swift stroke. We should both feel lucky that we still have our vehicles.
