Default how much would my h22a swap cost ??

If i want to put a h22a in my 1988 honda accord 4 door, how much money besides the motor itself, would it cost to have the swap done completely and have the engine running ?

It would cost a lot more than putting the motor into a 92, for instance. Your Accord is better for a B series motor swap.

it will cost way more than what the car is worth and like already mentioned a B series motor is best. i would suggest a first gen B16 which can be had for around $1,200-1,500.

94's are better for h22a's, 89 and below are good for b series

The 3gens are good for b swaps because of weight, they are comparible to a teggy or a civic 2800lbs or so. H22's are good for heavier cars that need tq to get that heavy *** off the line and hp to make it faster. The b series motors have high hp and somewhat low tq also due to weight. People on here are referring to a site http://www.3geez.com for 3rd gen accords, haven't checked it out because I don't own one, but seems pretty popular.
